chance, when hearing the CD, we find similarities with other well famously known
acts, it only proves that URBAN TALES make consistent music, with soul, and
mainly credible.

Although instrumentally they show a solid harmony, the main prominence - more
than deserved - goes for frontman Marcos César. The voice of this boy is
versatile and involving, independently of the remaining musical conjuncture.

In resume, "Diary Of A No" is already a must in the portuguese Metal, and can be
become easily in an international success, all dependent of the promotion made
by Burning Star Records. This intemporal album, will full envy some of most
important national labels that didn't want to bet in the guaranteed success of
the new stars made in Portugal."che Rhythmen und Chöre sowie um witzige Samples erweitert. Nicht so ganz überraschend kommen da swingende Rhythmen und jazzige Improvisationen rüber.

An den meist zwischen 7 und 12 Minuten langen Instrumentals gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Das teamorientierte Zusammenspiel der Rhythmustruppe mit Keys, Gitarre und Gitarrensynthesizer sorgt in den mehrteiligen, weitgehend durchkomponierten, aber nicht auf übetriebene Virtuosität getrimmten Instrumentals für ausreichend Abwechslung. Ausserdem integrieren Fromuz auf eine interessante Art und Weise rhythmische elektronische Musik, Samples sowie ethnische Elemente in ihr Progfusion-Konzept.

Die dezent eingeflochtenen Einflüsse der Modernen Klassik und des Progmetal legen die Vermutung nahe, dass die Musik von Fromuz gleichermaßen den King Crimson-, Univers Zero-, und Liquid Tension Experiment-Sympathisanten zusagen könnte. Auch Freunde von Djam Karet dürfen ruhig mal reinhören.

Neulich ist ein junger Keyboarder namens Evgeniy Popeloff (zufällig der Sohn des Gitarristen Vitaly Popeloff) zur Band gestossen. Man darf also gespannt sein, was von dieser vielversprechenden Formation noch kommen wird. Wer sich das leisten kann oder möchte, darf sich Fromuz vorerst beim Baja Prog Festival 2007 in Mexiko anschauen.olo und abgefahrenen, geradezu wirren Passagen gesegnete 'Scream' weiß zu beeindrucken. 'The Bell Of A Thousand Years' kann gut und gerne auch als stampfender Doom in Heavy-Rock-Ausführung bezeichnet werden, ehe uns 'The Rider On The White Horse' heimsucht und VENI DOMINE dabei an eine metallische Variante von Eric Clayton und seinen Mannen erinnern. In 'Two Times' zeigt die Band dann ihre düstere Doom-Metal-Seite, bevor die Halbballade 'Bless My Pain' Gänsehaut ohne End entstehen lässt. 'Stay With Me' startet dann ordentlich durch und zeigt uns abermals die rockigere Seite dieser Formation, bevor erneut todtrauriger, melodiöser Doom in Reinkultur in Form von 'You Leave Me Cold' den Raum erfüllt.

An das Ende dieser Scheibe haben VENI DOMINE dann die beiden längsten Nummern gestellt.
