Level 42 became one of the seminal British bands
after kicking off in the 80s as a bass driven jazz
funk band. After influencing a whole movement and
many artists, their sound became the mainstream and
made them one of the best loved bands of the last 20
years.
The last Level 42 album was released in 1995 and now
they are back! Mark King has recorded and produced a
stunning album of classic Level 42 tunes that has
all the hallmarks of the band at their most potent.
Original membe, Mike Lindup features on several
tracks - the first time him and Mark have joined
forces in over a decade. The album was written by
Mark and Boon Gould, another of the original
line-up, to create a musically and lyrically
intoxicating album.
