Yet another heavy act from the prolific province of Quebec, BLINDED BY FAITH was formed in Lévis during 1996. The band play a Gothic Doom-Death style with lyrics with a medieval flair. After a few line-up changes and a number of local gigs the band managed to produce a seven-track debut release, entitled 'Veiled Hideousness', in late 1999. Guitarist Sebastian Lessard was replaced by Pascal Cote in 2000 and the band continued to be active and play local gigs including the prestigious Polliwog Festival. BLINDED BY FAITH issued their second album, 'Under An Occult Sun' on Galy Records, in 2003.
BLINDED BY FAITH were joined by ex-MOONLYGHT, ASGARD, NO TURN AROUND, SORCIER DES GLACES and PASSAGE drummer Luc Gaulin in January 2006. The group utilised New Rock studios in Québec commencing November 3rd, working with producer Yannick St-Amand on new album tracks dubbed 'Weapons Of Mass Distraction'.
