Progressive Metal act RIVERSIDE combines musicians from a varied musical background. Guitarist Piotr Grudziñski was active with Metal band UNNAMED, Mariusz Duda was operating as a vocalist, bass and keyboard player in Wêgorzewo based XANADU, drummer Piotr 'Mittloff' Kozieradzki had been involved with Death Metal outfits HATE, GOETIA and DOMAIN whilst Jacek Melnicki held down an occupation as a sound engineer in his own recording studio, donating keyboards to both THUNDERBOLT and KATAXU. Kozieradzki had also sessioned on THUNDERBOLT's 'The Sons Of The Darkness' record.
In 2004 Mariusz Duda contributed guest session vocals to INDUKTI's album 'S.U.S.A.R.'. An EP, 'Voices In My Head' featuring three live tracks, surfaced in March 2005. The group recruited a new keyboard player in Michal Tapaj to record second album 'Second Life Syndrome', released in October 2005 by Inside Out Music. An EP, 'Voices In My Head' featuring three live tracks, followed in May 2006.
RIVERSIDE supported DREAM THEATER across Europe in June 2007. Rapid Eye Movement is Riverside's third and final album in the Reality Dream Trilogy which also includes Out of Myself and Second Life Syndrome. The album has a three word title and nine tracks just like the first two parts of the trilogy. It will be released late September and early October of 2007 by InsideOut in America and Europe and on Mystic Productions in Poland.
