San Francisco's FLAMETAL offered up a quite unique proposition in late 2005 - "the flamenco shred of Paco DeLucia with hard-edged Bay Area Metal". Mentored by vocalist / guitarist Benjamin Woods, the band comprised Hawaiian native Brian Spalding, ex-AARONSROD, on guitar, bassists Uriah Duffy, of WHITESNAKE, and Angeline Saris plus drummer Thomas Perry. The group's stage show also featured traditional flamenco dancers, Melissa Cruz and Fanny Ara.
