Hed Kandi goes back to the old school as Autumn
begins with a new outfit and a new look! Back To
Love, Hed Kandi's legendary club classics series is
the first album to be graced by our all-new livery
and illustration.
After seven 'Back To Love' albums based mostly on
the very best music from the æfloors of 1988 to
1991, it is time to move on a generation (or a few
years anyway) to the second golden age of classic
house music from 1992 to 1996 roughly speaking when
house moved into ever more glamorous clubs and
pianos ruled as the music moved slightly away from
the earlier Chicago house sound. One key difference
this time is that there is back-to-back house music
all the way rather than house alongside a freestyle
mix of hip-hop, rare groove and the odd disco or
soul classic thrown in. It's a collection of classic
anthem after anthem: from Barbara Tucker's
'Beautiful People' to Southstreet Players' 'Who
Keeps Changing Your Mind', The Bucketheads with 'The
Bomb', My Friend Sam featuring Viola Wills with
'It's My Pleasure' to Italian piano house classic,
