The American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR also).

The band released during its active period in the years 1968 to 1972 seven studio albums, all of which were awarded with precious metal. Green River, the most commercially successful studio production, in triplicate received platinum. The total is the most successful album compilation Chronicle, for which there was even 8 times platinum.

Most of the single releases were placed in the international charts, many in the top 10. Five songs made it into the listed countries on the top position: Proud Mary and Lookin 'Out My Back Door in Austria, Bad Moon Rising in the UK, Hey Tonight in Germany and Sweet Hitch-Hiker in Switzerland. These titles were given, with the exception of the gold-winning Sweet Hitch-Hiker, ever a platinum record in the US. The also managed only the single Down on the Corner, their highest placing was No. 2 in Germany.
